IC designs educational and community development projects. Throughout the process of planning, implementing, evaluating and managing social projects that seek to promote people we reinforce our commitment to build a better future.

In each one of our initiatives, we list the Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs, which are a global agenda adopted during the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development in September 2015 composed of 17 goals and 169 goals to be achieved by 2030.

EDUCAÇÃO GARANTIDA PROJECT
(GUARANTEED EDUCATION)

With the goal of providing quality educational development in our society, XP Investments has partnered with IC to create the Educação Garantida (Guaranteed Education) Project. The project is funded by XP and implemented by IC, with the goal of benefiting children whose parents suffer financial hardships therefore limiting and controlling school evasion. It also offers scholarships for full-time education in private schools. By 2018, the goal is to benefit over 800 children.

ESPAÇO CIDADÃO PROJECT
(CITIZENSHIP SPACE)

The goal of the Project Espaço Cidadão (Citizenship Space Project) is to improve the quality of life of families under social risk. Its actions include interpersonal discussion and reflections about the main themes that affect these families´ day to day lives and relationships.

Since 2004, it offers meetings included the following topics:

Citizenship;
Financial education;
Entrepreneurship and employability;
Me and the community;
Family;
Environment;
Sexuality;
Health and well-being.

AGENTEQUEAPRENDE PROJECT
(PEOPLEWHOLEARN)

The Project has the goal of training and qualifying social entrepreneurs in institutions within our network by holding workshops about themes relevant to the third sector of the economy. About 700 managers have been trained with the project.

ADOTE
(ADOPT)

The Project has the goal of sponsoring children from families in social classes C and D and who are in school. The sponsorship covers monthly fees and school activity costs. The sponsorship may be carried integrally through a monthly payment for the school and extra-curricular activities or partially if the sponsor prefers a payment composition together with other sponsors.

ERA UMA VEZ SOCIAL PROJECT
(ONCE UPON A TIME)

In the Projeto Social Era Uma Vez (Social Project Once Upon a Time), the Firm GC-5 proposes to give attention to those who really need it: elderlies living in homecare.

Developed in partnership with IC, the project transforms these residents’ lives and experiences into books, recording and spreading their memories and stories.

NOSSO CUIABÁ PROJECT
(OUR CUIABA)

IC was responsible for the development of the Nosso Cuiabá project for the construction of a condominium of houses for the victims of the floods that hit the Cuiabá Valley region in the Itaipava district of Petrópolis, RJ. The project was conceived by the businessman Eduardo Eugenio Gouvêa Vieira and counted on the financial contribution of the private initiative and the public power. In this way, by joining different forces, 74 houses were built and donated to about 300 people.

The initiative aims to renovate / build homes in order to guarantee better living conditions, protection, providing individual satisfaction of residents and well-being with dignity.
